How soon should I enquire about a nursery place?

We would advise to get in touch as soon as possible. Many of our nurseries operate waiting lists therefore we advise to put your child’s name down as early as you can. However, we will always do our upmost to help secure your place. The best thing to do is get in touch with our friendly teams who will be more than happy to help.

Opening hours

Opening and closing times will be specific to each nursery. You can ask the Nursery Manager at your chosen setting or look at our nursery webpages to find out when your nursery operates. Our nurseries are closed between Christmas and New Year as well as Bank/public holidays.

Do I need to take a personal tour?

Our personal tours have been especially designed to enable you to get a feel for the nursery and chat with our staff. During your tour, our nursery team will be on hand to answer any questions and to discuss your child’s individual care requirements. We want you and your child to feel comfortable right from the start.

Do you hold open days?

Yes! Open Days take place four times a year.

Do I pay when my child is off due to holiday or illness?

Yes, you will be charged your normal fees if your child is ill or on holiday.

What does my child need to wear for nursery?

We ask parents to bring in at least two changes of clothes. In winter your child will need a coat, gloves and possibly a hat.

Can you help when my child starts potty training?

Certainly, we will align with your home routine and provide guidance on successful, collaborative toilet training for your child.

What if I have questions?

I’m quite anxious about the prospect of using a nursery. Do you have any advice?

It is completely natural to feel anxious, whether it is your first baby or your fourth – the worry doesn’t go away! We completely understand and are here to support you. Many of our teams are parents themselves and have first-hand experience of how scary the thought of leaving your child in a nursery can be. To help alleviate some of the worry we offer free settling-in sessions for as long as you and your child needs. We can also put you in touch with other parents who have already been through the process to give you first-hand, honest advice and support. Our teams are here on-hand to discuss any worries or concerns and will work with you and your child for as long as you both need to feel comfortable, settled and secure.

Nursery Attendance

How do I increase my childcare sessions?

If you wish to make changes to your agreed session plan, please contact your nursery manager. Where possible our manager will try to accommodate any changes made within reason, however, please be aware that any additional sessions requested are subject to availability. To avoid disappointment, we highly recommend speaking to your nursery’s manager as soon as you are aware of any necessary updates to your session plan. How do I reduce my childcare sessions?

4 weeks notice required

Please make sure you are certain you wish to decrease your sessions before making any changes to your session plan. It is much easier for us to reduce the number of sessions your child attends and should you wish to increase your sessions again in the future, it may not be possible to do so. If you are certain you want to reduce your session plan 4 weeks notice is required, please contact your nursery manager. Fees & Deposits

Where can I pay my fees?

Fees can be paid for all nurseries at ParentZone app. Preferred method of payment is DD, you can also use Tax Free Childcare.
