What Parents Say About Our Nursery

A fantastic nursery who really love and care for the children in their care. Activities are excellent, educational and so much fun for my boys. Staff are friendly, super caring and very informative. My boys love going to nursery and have come on leaps and bounds since starting. I couldn’t ask for better care for my boys! Thank you!

Sophia, Current Parent

Such a brilliant nursery. Friendly staff, wonderful food and top-quality care for my children! My daughter attended prior to going to school, and my son now attends, and we can’t fault the nursery – it’s amazing!

Tom, Current Parent

The staff are so lovely and accommodating to our specific needs as a family. My child loves going to preschool, and I feel they are preparing all the children for the next steps into school life wonderfully.

Outdoor Discovery: Growing, Learning, and Playing in Nature

We love to get outside at Holyrood Warrington! We have substantial gardens providing opportunities for outdoor learning across all areas of the curriculum and a RHS Gardening award level 2.

As well as access to our fabulous outdoor play areas, mud kitchen and access to our woodland area, children of all ages enjoy regular walks in the local area. We take children out in groups, come rain or shine, to take part in a variety of activities set up by our staff. Wherever possible we try to take our indoor learning outside.

During our time outside we teach children how to assess risk, problem solve, share, gather and utilise from nature as we are committed to teach our children about their environment and the effect we have on it in our day to day lives.

We always make strides to be an environmentally friendly nursery, making changes wherever we can to make the world a cleaner place. We are so fortunate to have an allotment area within our garden to introduce planting and growing.
Our youngest children are often seen out in our buggies enjoying the fresh air, sights and sounds of the local community. We use high visibility vests to keep children safe when out on trips away from the nursery. All children leave wellington boots and waterproof clothing at nursery so they can be appropriately dressed for all seasons!
